VFSB - Fire Education and Training Committee

The Committee on Fire Education and Training shapes fire education, training and standards across the Commonwealth through expert guidance and planning.

The committee is responsible for advising the Virginia Fire Services Board on the review and approval of a five-year statewide plan for fire education and training. It also provides recommendations to the Agency regarding personnel standards and plays a key role in adopting those standards for fire service professionals across the Commonwealth.
